22 years of Hospitality Leadership
When I started my second job at 15 in my hometown as a dessert girl, hostess, and cashier, I never imagined the places hospitality would take me. After a decade of leading restaurant teams, I was half of the founding force of Bistro Alfaro in 2008, a Peruvian fusion restaurant with two locations in San Bartolo, Peru.
Back in the states after that opening, I helped to open dozens of restaurants, overseeing every step along the way, creating menus, training programs, computer software systems, and more for a lot of fun projects.
In 2020, a dear friend was navigating the hardships of planning a wedding during COVID. We had fun back and forth shopping for dresses and looking at wedding design ideas, and as the day drew closer she asked me to coordinate the day.
Planning weddings has been a longtime dream for me so I was beyond ecstatic to help. When that dream became a reality, it felt like coming back to where I belonged. My love of projects has been a lifelong relationship, and translating my right brain creativity with my left brain structured logic into weddings feels natural.
